Home improvement retailer and garden centre company Wickes has shown its support for Beverley Community Lift.

The local branch of Wickes has made a donation of £300 to the Beverley-based community transport charity which takes elderly and disabled people out and about.

Emily Kershaw, Store Manager at Wickes Beverley said: “It is our pleasure to help support local charities such as Beverley Community Lift, and we are delighted to know that our donation has had such a direct impact on the service they provide.

Providing support to local community projects is an important element of what we do and it’s wonderful to be able to help towards making a significant difference to people’s lives.”
