BCL thanks Comic Relief

Beverley Community Lift has weathered a 50th birthday year like no other, a testing 12 months in common with so many other great causes. 

However, thanks to public support through events such as The Big Night earlier this year, the charity has received grant aid to maintain key services and help customers who would otherwise be isolated, lonely and struggling to access essential supplies. 

Funding from Comic Relief has helped keep BCL's shopper services going and it has been even more essential than usual because passenger numbers have had to be restricted.
