Beverley Community Lift wishes to extend its grateful thanks to The Worshipful Company of Grocers who are supporting our car service which takes people to medical appointments. 

The £5000 grant received is for volunteer expenses over the next 12 months.

This is what service user Derek O says about our car service:

“I think Beverley Community Lift are ‘brilliant’. The drivers are very good, helping me in and out of the car, making sure l don’t hurt myself and then waiting for me.

I would not have been able to get to the number of hospital appointments that l have had without BCL's help because I do not qualify for hospital transport as I am now able to walk a little with a stick.

I do not know what I would have done without you."
