Last year Covid came along and halted all our plans but on Friday 18th June Beverley Community Lift finally got to mark it’s Golden Jubilee.

30 elderley service users from Beverley, Pocklington and Holme on Spalding Moore were invited to a garden party picnic held at Oldroyd’s Corner Woodmansey. With quizzes, games and stalls an extremely enjoyable afternoon was had by all. Even the heavy rain couldn’t dampen spirits because this beautiful garden is all under glass! For some people this was their first time out in over a year. All attendees received a gift of chocolates and a commemorative pen to mark the event.
