Since 1970 Beverley Community Lift has played a crucial role in the community, offering vital transport services to medical appointments, essential shopping trips and leisure days out.

From 2022, when services resumed in full, demand has risen considerably and in the last 12 months our dedicated volunteers have given almost 8000 hours of their time to helping others. In order to meet this increasing demand the charity is on a mission to recruit new volunteers with positions available including car/minibus drivers, passenger assistants ,trustees, office administrators, and a social media co-ordinator.

For anyone interested in finding out more about the charity and the roles on offer why not come along to one of our volunteer events on Wednesday 28th February 10:00 to 12.30 at Market Weighton Community Hall  and Wednesday 6th March 10:00 to 12:30 at Haltemprice Leisure Centre?
