A private VIP film screening of the new film in the Harry Potter series 'Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them' took place at the Parkway Cinema in Beverley on Sunday 20th November, and raised much needed funds for local charity Beverley Community Lift.

CEO Jan Stainforth explained more: “It was a really ‘magical’ afternoon, with the film show and lots of extra ‘spellbinding’ features, including: a magic show with magician Dan Voakes; Harry Potter Fancy Dress competition; chocolate treats kindly donated by White Rabbit Chocolatiers; a selfie mirror with Harry Potter props; and real, live 'beasts' from Meet a Creature, such as snakes, spiders and crested dragons."
