Young Volunteers offer Helping Hands
Young volunteers taking part in the National Citizenship Service (NCS) have been giving Beverley Community Lift a big helping hand.
In a bid to raise funds for the charity, the young people organised a cake stall, offered a bag packing service in Tesco's supermarket, and even helped to paint the inside of the newly acquired shop premises on Sow Hill Road in Beverley.
As a lasting legacy of their involvement, each NCS volunteer left a painted handprint, and creates a colourful mural on the wall in the back office of the new shop.
Beverley Community Lift is very grateful for the assistance of ERVAS http://ervas.org.uk/ for their support with the NCS volunteers.
